OOSBuster is a software program for helping to prevent and recover from OOS (Occupational Overuse Syndrome). OOS is also called RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) and CTS (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome).

The best way to avoid OOS is to take frequent, short breaks when using a computer. OOSBuster helps to do this by monitoring your usage, and suggesting when to take a break. When a break is taken, you can view exercises that help to relieve tension in your muscles, particularly your hands and arms.

[]  Completely customisable - Settings can be adjusted for each user of the computer for their needs. Settings include time between micropauses, how long without activity until the computer is regarded as "unused", micropause duration, and many more.
[]  Animated exercises - Exercises showing people doing the exercise so you can easily see how it is meant to be done.
[]  Extensive reporting - View details of computer usage for each day: time spent typing, total time spent on the computer, keystrokes, words per minute and more. Each user has their own log file.
[]  Unobstructive - Runs in the background with only a small icon in the system tray to show activity. Alert boxes can be moved around the screen so each user can position them where they are most convenient. Breaks can be also cancelled.
[]  Can be set to lock the keyboard and mouse to force breaks.
[]  Custom exercise sets can be easily produced, distributed and incorporated into OOSBuster with a free editor.

Any system capable of running Windows 95 or later will be able to run OOSBuster.
OOSBuster has been tested on Windows 95, Windows 95 OSR2, Windows 95 OSR2.5, Windows 98, Windows 98 SE, Windows ME, Windows NT4, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. For viewing the exercises, it is recommended that you are running in 800x600 at 24 bit colour depth.
